The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program will prepare students to become outstanding researchers and leaders in the field of School or Community Health Education. The Ph.D. program offers opportunities for students to advance their teaching skills and become involved in professional and advocacy organizations. Students will learn scholarly and professional communication skills, and will be expected to refine these skills through regular participation in scientific conferences.
The program will follow policies and procedures for Ph.D. programs already established by the WSU Graduate School and by the College of Education. The requirement is a minimum of 90 credit hours.
