The goal of the Health and Wellness Program is to prepare undergraduate students with the knowledge and skills needed to assume roles as Health and Wellness professions in a variety of settings, such as: corporate or worksite wellness; college health promotion; local, county, state, or federal public health agencies; health care organizations, private business or personal training consultant, and, not-for-profit community health agencies. Students learn to administer effective health and wellness programs in organizations that advance preventive medicine and positive lifestyle habits. Program objectives are aligned with current standards of the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. (NCHEC).
