Lock Haven University-BS-Health Science

Community and Public Health Education is a track within the Health Science major. The track prepares students for entry-level community health and public health education and promotion positions in settings such as public health departments, non-profit agencies, corporations, and hospitals. Typical tasks of health education professionals include assessing the health of populations and planning, implementing, and evaluating health programs designed to change health behaviors and improve overall health. Graduates will be prepared to sit for national exams and enter graduate programs.
