The Master of Public Health degree equips students with the knowledge and expertise necessary for success in the public health field. The MPH in Social and Behavioral Sciences offers a thorough grasp of health behavior theories across all life stages, along with practical training to develop, implement, and evaluate effective health behavior programs. Graduates are primed for careers in health promotion, program design and evaluation, and prevention science across a range of settings, including state and local health departments, hospitals, international health agencies, and non-profit organizations. Additionally, students have the option to pursue the Addictions Counseling graduate certificate, paving the way for licensure as chemical dependency counselors in Ohio.
