The Bachelor of Science in Public Health is a joint program between the School of Health Sciences and The School of Health Promotion and Human Performance, both within the College of Health and Human Services. The mission of the program is to prepare culturally-competent public health professionals committed to advancing health equity through the improvement of individual and community health and well-being.The program focuses on protecting and improving the health of populations through education, promotion of healthy lifestyles, and research for disease and injury prevention. Coursework covers a broad range of public health topics and a student selected "track" of interest: community health education
