The Department of Public Health offers a Public Health concentration with a minor in Health Education (Bachelor of Science in Health BSH). The purpose of the Public Health program is to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed for entry-level public/community health positions, Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) certification, and graduate studies. The UNF Public Health Program is dedicated to providing a quality educational experience through excellence in research, teaching, and service and with meaningful partnerships with the local public health community. The curriculum includes coursework in the five core areas of Public Health and the health education/promotion specialization.
